The discrepancy note tool provides a real-time tool facilitating the management of manual queries edited by the monitor.
The monitor accesses to this tool from the patient list clicking as shown below.
All the discrepancy notes linked to manual queries in the study are listed in this tool according to their status (ongoing or archived). A second table provides a list of the manual queries according to their position in the different sections of the eCRF.
Clicking on a specific number (point 1 below), the monitor can check the details of each manual query. Clicking then on the query ID, the monitor can manage the queries adding a comment / answer or validating and/or archiving them if resolved.
As for all the different modules of the platform, the data from this module can be filtered using the different type of filters (in the left part of the module as shown below as indicated in 2).
All the data from the discrepancy note tool can be printed or exported in an excel file clicking on the icon indicated in 3.
The monitor can send an email notification to the investigator in order to ask him to answer to the manual query. Clicking as indicated in point 4 (as seen above), the monitor can see the email details and select to send or not the email notifications.
