Follow-Up Tracking Tool

How to configure the F/Up tracking module?

1/ Select the reference date

Only ONE reference date field can be set up.

The reference date refers to the Time 0 of the patient follow-up. It corresponds to a date field in the platform.

As a builder, open the CRF building. Then click in « reference field date set up for follow-up reminder calculating ».

Select the date field reference and then click on « update ».

2/ Set up the follow-up pages

At least a date field for the date of the visit should be created for a follow-up page.

Each page corresponding to a visit of follow-up should be set up as a follow-up page.

In the page parameter, open the « Follow-up » item.

If the page is the first visit page and contains the visit date, check the « Is a follow-up page » box.
Then specify:

  • the follow-up group
  • the delay (in days or months) between the reference date and the current visit
  • the date field corresponding to the date of the visit
  • the lower and upper limit of visit compliancy (in days, months or years)

If the page is a visit page but does not contain the visit date, check the « Is a page included in the follow-up tracking » box, then specify the follow-up page associated.

Finally click on « update » button.

The « compliant » / « Non compliant » status of the follow-up visit is available only if the lower and upper limits of compliancy are defined.

Otherwise, the page status is « Done ».

3/ Set up the F/Up missed indicator (if needed)

A specific status of Follow-up visit can be set up adding a F/Up missed indicator.

If a follow-up visit has not be performed, then the status of this visit will be displayed as missed.

In order to set up this indicator,

  • add in the follow-up page an option group field « Has the visit been performed? Yes/No »,
  • add an indicator in the « FUP missed » category,
  • in the indicator option, check the box « Define fup page missed »
